Photo Classes, Walks & Workshops
In response to COVID-19 and recommendations by the CDC of social distancing, Hunt’s Photo Education is presenting our new series of online classes! (Hey! We wanted to do it anyway, this just sped up the process!) These courses will be shorter (about 1 hour), online versions of many classes that we currently offer, plus a few new ones, and include Q&A at the end.
Below the course description (but before registration) will be a short explanation on how the class will run.
Photographing food is a challenging endeavor that requires a knowledge of photography, of food, and the patience to not snack on what you’re photographing!
In this seminar based class, we will discuss how to take mouth-watering images of foods. This introductory course will feature tips, techniques, and the best practices to make your food look appetizing in camera. We will discuss topics such as:
-choosing food
-exposure
-texture
-story telling
-composition
-white balance
-& more!
Registering and what is needed
After you register for this class, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 48 hours prior to the class time with that same information.
Layout of the class
The class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class–roughly 1 hour– will be a presentation on the topic, followed by a short Q&A. During the class, you are welcome to type in questions in the Chat box if you have specific questions as they are asked. We will do our best to answer those questions, but if not, feel free to ask them at the end.
Please read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up.
