Online: Special Guest Series- The Art of Wildlife Photography with Russ Burden

August 28, 2020, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$20

Below the course description (but before registration) will be a short explanation on how the class will run.

Russ Burden’s passion for nature photography is unmeasurably high and his desire to create the perfect wildlife and scenic image is on his mind every time he’s in the field. His primary focus is now wildlife and he loves the challenge. It requires patience, dedication, determination, frequent visits to his favorite locations, all mixed in with a bit of luck. But why is it that some wildlife photographers seem to be “luckier” than others? Russ will share with you the tips and techniques he uses to make you one of the luckier ones. He will show examples of the photos he’s captured and talk about what he did to make them successful. He’ll discuss important concepts such as lighting, composition, proper head and body angles, backgrounds, time of day and many other aspects to improve your captures. Russ loves to share his passion, enthusiasm, and knowledge with all.

About Russ: Russ Burden is the owner of Russ Burden Nature Photography Safaris. He runs wildlife safaris to Tanzania three times a year. He is internationally published and his commercial work is marketed through Getty Images.
