Photo Classes, Walks & Workshops
In response to COVID-19 and recommendations by the CDC of social distancing, Hunt’s Photo Education is presenting our new series of online classes! (Hey! We wanted to do it anyway, this just sped up the process!) These courses will be shorter (about 1 hour), online versions of many classes that we currently offer, plus a few new ones, and include Q&A at the end.
Below the course description (but before registration) will be a short explanation on how the class will run.
What’s the deal with tripods? Often, we get questions about what is important when purchasing a tripod and why we might choose one tripod over another. Even more often, we will be on photo walks and attendees will come with tripods that just don’t “fit the bill”–in other words, they wobble, they don’t get tall enough, and their end result (the photograph) isn’t tack-sharp. Even other times, our attendees are flummoxed as to how to set up a tripod.
But no longer! This course will teach you all about tripods, including what options to look for, the varying parts of a tripod, and how to use one properly. Come join us as we get you more stable!
Registering and what is needed
After you register for this class, you will receive a confirmation email that you have signed up. About 24 hours prior to the class time, we will send out an email with the weblink for you to follow as well as information on how to access the class online. (It’s pretty easy, but we’ll walk you through it in a quick online video!)
Layout of the class
The class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class–roughly 1 hour– will be a presentation on the topic, followed by a short Q&A. During the class, you are welcome to type in questions in the Chat box if you have specific questions as they are asked. We will do our best to answer those questions, but if not, feel free to ask them at the end.
Please read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up.
