Online: Understanding the Creative Power of Shutter Speeds and Apertures

April 10, 2020, 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm

$20

In response to COVID-19 and recommendations by the CDC of social distancing, Hunt’s Photo Education is presenting our new series of online classes! These courses will be shorter (about 1 hour), online versions of many classes that we currently offer, plus a few new ones, and include Q&A at the end.
Below the course description (but before registration) will be a short explanation on how the class will run.

There are so many important parts of photography– exposure, focus, lenses & glass, tripods, composition, and so much more– that we often take for granted some of the most basic elements of photography that can offer the most varied amount of creativity. We are of course referring to Shutter Speeds and Apertures.
Join Hunt’s Photo Education’s Don Toothaker to learn and discuss the creative power of both shutter speeds and apertures. This is a quintessential class for anyone as it deals with the simple complexities and the complex simplicities that we deal with in every shot. We will discuss how to effectively utilize these two elements to enhance creativity in the field.

Registering and what is needed
After you register for this class, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 48 hours prior to the class time with that same information.

Layout of the class
The class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class–roughly 1 hour– will be a presentation on the topic, followed by a short Q&A. During the class, you are welcome to type in questions in the Chat box if you have specific questions as they are asked. We will do our best to answer those questions, but if not, feel free to ask them at the end.

Please read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up.
