Toy Photography Workshop- Hunt’s Photo, Melrose

April 2, 2022, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

$99.99

Saturday April 2nd, 10am-2pm • Hunt’s Photo, Melrose

Instructor: Emily Hojnowski

Featuring hands-on instruction on everything macro…with toys!

Recommended prerequisite: Basic knowledge of your camera

Group Size: Limited to 8 attendees

Workshop Description
Come see your photography through the eyes of a kid and transform your toys into life size photos!
In this dual macro/still life class, we’ll spend our day creating a variety of still life set ups, unique macro scenarios, different lighting techniques, compositions, and how to tell a story when working with toys. We will cover exposure, composition, how to use macro lenses and extension tubes, how to set up lighting, how to use light modifiers and more!

We will be bringing lots of toys and other props to photograph for this workshop. However, we find in our macro workshops that our attendees value shooting some things of their own as much if not more than what we bring. So, while we will have those toys and props, feel free to bring your own!

COVID-19 Policies on Masks and Social Distancing
Until further notice, we will be requiring masks for our indoor classes. We also ask that you socially distance whenever possible.
As always, if you are sick or feeling unwell, STAY HOME! We will gladly give you a credit towards a future class.
