After learning “the basics” of digital photography, become more comfortable in the world of digital photography by taking the next step.
How to focus every photographic situation is not the same. As with many areas of photography, focusing is not as straightforward as it may seem. Whether using autofocus or manual focus, there are a variety of different modes and settings on your camera that will allow you to change not only where, but also how your camera focuses. This course is designed to give you a lay-of-the-land for focusing, whether you are looking to improve sports photography or simply compose your photo’s focus differently. While our Beginner class scratches the surface of these functions, our Beyond the Basics class goes over in-depth:
• Autofocusing Areas
• Autofocus Modes
• The advantages of Back-button Focusing
• Drive Modes
• Live View and Manual Focus
Understanding the full-functionality of your camera is a necessity to improving your flexibility when photographing in a variety of situations. This course is designed to help you feel more comfortable about how to change your camera’s settings in those situations. It is recommended as a follow-up to our Beginner Photography course.
