Happy New Year, Photonauts*!
If you haven’t paid attention to our education department, now might be a good time. Over the past few months, we’ve been expanding out education at Hunt’s Photo, and we have a bright new year ahead of us.
Our Classes and Workshops have grown in popularity. Outside of the standard Beginner Photography class, we have also expanded to monthly Adobe Lightroom Basics classes, Digital Printing classes, Video classes, and a series of Lighting classes that feature Light Modifiers, Speedlights, and Studio Lighting.
Our Custom 1-on-1 classes, which are catered specifically to your personal needs and interests, have also expanded. Due to popular demand, more classes are now being offered on nights and weekends.
Finally, our Photo Walks have proven extremely successful for us. Don Toothaker, one of Hunt’s staff photographers, has led sold-out walks in Rockport, Newburyport, on Beacon Hill and in Boston “after dark” this past fall. On these walks, Don discusses subject development, image composition, long exposures, and other topics relevant to photographers today. Don and the staff at Hunt’s are excited about our lineup this year, starting in January with the Boston Public Library. As these walks have all sold out at a rapid pace, keep your eyes open for our announcements of them. As we can only have a dozen people per walk, please be patient if you do not sign up in time: we are doing our best to accommodate.
You can currently find the listings for our group classes and Photo Walks on our Eventbrite page and, as always, on our calendar of events at HuntsPhoto.com. We will be offering online booking for one-on-one classes soon, but until then, you can always book over the phone at 800-221-1830- Please make sure you ask for the specific location when you call.
Thanks for your support! We look forward to sharing our love of photography with you all!
