Thursday, May 10th, 5:30-9:30pm • Cambridge, MA
Featuring Portraits and Nightscapes
with special guest reps from Nikon, Tamron, Manfrotto, and more!
Hosted by the Hunt’s Photo Education Staff
On Thursday, May 10th, Hunt’s Photo Education will be hosting our first completely free Hunt’s Photo Meet up at North Point Park in Cambridge. The photographic feature of this meetup is Portraits and Nightscapes. From 5:30 to 7:30pm, we will have models on location that you will be able to photograph. You will also be free to walk around North Point Park during and after that time to take some night landscapes of the beautiful scenery the park has to offer. The meetup will conclude at 9:30pm. Any and all photographers are encouraged to attend.
The emphasis of our meet ups are to meet up with a bunch of photographers! We welcome our Photo students and Photo Walkers as well as those that have never taken a class or workshop with us. This meetup is for anyone that owns a camera and likes taking pictures–really, if you like photography, we’d love to meet you! The purpose of the meetup is to emphasize Hunt’s strong Photo Education community, so come and say hi, meet some great new people and take some cool pictures!
This Meetup is also about trying out some gear! We will have Nikon cameras and lenses, Tamron lenses, Lensbaby lenses, Manfrotto tripods, and more on the way. (We will add to the list here as we receive more confirmations from manufacturer reps.) This will be a great chance to ask our manufacturer reps some questions, but also test out a little bit of their gear!
Our tentative schedule:
5:30p-7:30p – Photograph models around North Point Park
7:30p-9:15p – Models head home. Transition to night/long exposure shooting around Zakim bridge, North Bank pedestrian bridge, and underneath the Zakim.
9:15p-9:30p – Return of gear and heading home!
Attending manufacturers:
•Nikon
•Sony
•Fuji
•Olympus
•Tamron
•Lensbaby
•Phottix Lighting

Please note: If you register, we will be sending out a few more details a few days prior to the meetup with a few more specifics.
Don’t forget to bring your camera with a charged battery and a memory card. You may bring other accessories, but remember that the listed brands will also have gear with them that you can borrow!
