A Little Bit About the Workshop:
The Workshop will begin in Reykjavik with a group dinner on the first evening.
Transportation upon Arrival: We include Flybus vouchers from Keflavik Airport & back after the workshop. Upgrade to a private airport pick up or drop off is available. We use our specially modified 4×4 Super Truck for transportation in our Iceland Workshops.
Accommodations: Accommodation in double occupancy for eleven nights at hotels, single room available upon request. We stay at the various hotels & guesthouses, but as close as possible to our photography locations. The workshop concludes when we check into our last hotel night in Reykjavik – Participants will then have time to visit Reykjavik or rest for early flights.
Skill Sets: All Levels of Photographers are Welcome. While this is a photography workshop, non-photographers may also register, but please note that we will emphasize photographing on the workshop.
Physical Ability: The tour is open to all ability levels. While this is not a hiking tour, we will be as active as conditions allow and make short walks and potentially hike up small 100-200 meter hills.
Misc: The Workshop includes Photographic tutoring and guidance by our Hunt’s Photo Education team as well as a pro landscape photographer from Iceland. We will provide you with a packing list for the tour, with recommended equipment and clothing. Safety gear provided when needed, such as helmets and crampons.
A Note About Payments and Deposits: A deposit of $1,000 is required upon sign-up to secure a spot. The remaining balance is due 90-days prior to the workshop. After this point, the workshop is non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

About our instructors
Robert Fletcher began his full-time photography career in 1970. Following in the footsteps of Ansel Adams, he mostly photographed people (children, portraits, weddings, seniors, etc.), which paid the bills. Over time, he became interested in photographing wildlife and landscapes, mostly for personal pleasure. In 1999, he was asked to become a “Stringer” for Canon USA and has been in that position since then. It has led Robert towards teaching, leading workshops and sharing his life-long passion with others. He always looks forward to sharing his knowledge of photography with those who are anxious to learn.
Jeff Swinger boasts nearly 30 years of professional experience built upon his passion for telling stories through images. He honed his skills over 16 years with The Cincinnati Enquirer covering news and sports and has covered four Olympic Games for USA Today Sports. Additionally, Jeff works as an educational contributor and freelance Pro Market Representative for Canon USA and travels domestically and internationally conducting photo tours and workshops. Jeff lives with his family in Park City, Utah.
