This class isn’t currently offered, but we will be offering it again soon!
One of the greatest visual tools of our time- Adobe Photoshop- allows us to seamlessly blend multiple images together using the technique of masking to create one final, dynamic image. By doing this, we are able to create a greater range of tonalities in our image that would otherwise not be visible by using just a single exposure. Through this technique, High Dynamic Range Photography becomes fully realized.
This course will cover basic masking in Photoshop and blend modes using multiple layers of images to create one final image. We will begin working with two images to create one and will expand beyond that as time allows.
Sample images will be provided to work with for the class.
A basic knowledge of computers is helpful.
Students may bring their own work, if they choose.
A laptop (or all-in-one computer) and Adobe Photoshop (any version) is required. (Free trials of Photoshop are available from Adobe.com.)
