All skill levels welcome!
Join instructor Don Toothaker on April 27th for a photo walk at Plum Island. During the walk, we will emphasize the use of neutral density filters to create dramatic long exposure sunset and night photographs. We will also discuss Image Composition, Exposure, Black and White Photography and Night Photography.
Plum Island, located near Newburyport, MA, is an 11-mile long barrier island that is a popular destination for both its scenic beach landscape and the variety of plants and birds that reside there. During this photo walk, we will be emphasizing the former of these, starting towards the end of the day and going into just past sunset. We will be employing the use of neutral density (ND) filters on this walk in order to create longer exposures, creating a more ethereal look to your evening photographs. We will have filters available for you to use and will instruct not only how to set up your camera to take these photographs, but also how to take them with ND filters.
If you are attending this walk, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the walk. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. This email will detail any of those minor changes.
Please read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up.
If you are interested in learning a little more about your camera (or anything else photographic-related) prior to the walk, we would love to have you for a Custom 1-on-1 class.
