Recommended prerequisite: Basic knowledge of your camera
All Skill Levels Welcome
Join instructor Rick Berk for an evening/night photo walk at Portland Head Light. On the walk, we will cover exposure, composition, depth of field, concepts in black and white, natural lighting, knowledge of your camera, and more. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.
Initially developed under the orders of George Washington in 1787, Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth is an easily recognizable lighthouse on the shores of Maine, now on the National Registry of Historical Places. During the walk, we will explore the old buildings and park connected to the lighthouse. As with many lighthouses along the shores of the Atlantic, Portland Head Light is a picturesque location and a must-see for photographers of all levels.
If you are attending this walk, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the walk. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. This email will detail any of those minor changes.
Please read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up.
If you are interested in learning a little more about your camera (or anything else photographic-related) prior to the walk, we would love to have you for a Custom 1-on-1 class.
