Join photographers Don Toothaker and Ron Phillips on a walking day tour of Provincetown, Massachusetts. During the walk, we will discuss Subject Development, Image Composition, Exposure, Black and White Photography, Low Light Photography, and Architectural Photography.
Provincetown is an amazingly eclectic location at the tip of Cape Cod and full of variety. The town itself is full of colorful shops, restaurants, galleries and cabarets. The docks and shoreline contrast this presenting the look of a typical coastal community. All this makes for a fantastic variety of photography for the day.
We will start by taking the Fast Ferry out of the Seaport in Boston to Provincetown. We will work our way from the docks through the town and the beach. We will continue to photograph until 7:30pm when we will take the Fast Ferry back to Boston for a 9pm return.
Please note: We will meet promptly at 8am at the ticket booth at the World Trade Center on Seaport Blvd. We recommend parking at Seaport Open Air Parking Lots, costing $27 – $36 per car per day. While it is important to arrive on time, be aware we will be taking the 8:30am fast ferry to Provincetown. If you are late and miss the ferry, we have to go on without you.
If you are attending this walk, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the walk. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. This email will detail any of those minor changes.
Please read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up.
If you are interested in learning a little more about your camera (or anything else photographic-related) prior to the walk, we would love to have you for a Custom 1-on-1 class.
