The Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM Macro is my go to lens for close ups. In the field the compact size and weight of this lens made it a pleasure to use. This lens gives me the sharpest results possible and a good balance with size, weight, working distance and good looking bokeh. The 105mm F2.8 OS sharpness and resolution is amazing, take a look at the 100% crop sections of the full size images to get an idea of just how sharp this lens really is. All the images below were made handheld or with a monopod and a single diffused Nikon SB-R200 wireless Speedlight flash.
