Hunt’s Photo and Video is pleased to present “The Power of Video for the Professional Photographer” a free seminar geared towards working photographers who are interested in adding wedding/event cinematography to their repertoire. This event will be held at Theia Studios in North Andover on Thursday, August 20th from 6pm-9pm.
This seminar is free, but advanced registration is required here https://theia-studios.com/video-night/
The video market has been growing rapidly in recent years. Many photographers are branching out and creating bigger stories by incorporating video into the projects that they shoot. Joe Simon is a great example of someone who has taken wedding/event cinematography to a whole new level. The number one reason that the video market is now available to photographers is quite simple: the cost. 10-20 years ago, the average photographer couldn’t shoot video unless they were willing to invest a significant amount of money into new equipment and software.
Today, most photographers already have the basic equipment needed to shoot and edit high quality video with gear they already own. Even if they don’t, they have developed the basic skill set required to operate cameras/software that are more affordable than ever before.
Being able to shoot video is simply another tool in your belt. It’s another service that you can offer to your clients and as with any new tool, you need the knowledge and experience in order to make use of it and to profit from it. This seminar will give you that base knowledge so you can continue to learn, grow and profit from the emerging video market.
